Having a kid really made me mad at all the parents who try to convince others to have kids. HAVING A KID IS BONKERS. Why would you want anyone to parent if they weren’t 100% into the idea?

Even after birthing a kid, people STILL keep scanning my body for evidence of a second, despite us never wavering that we weren’t having more. My husband just got a vasectomy, and now people are finally starting to believe us that we’re one-and-done.

Having kids isn’t for everyone. I’m very happy for you that you do fulfilling work, you have love, and you’re able to make a choice that’s right for you, rather than just going along with the status quo!
