He sure is a cutie, but he can get pretty wild and barky. In the last couple months, he’s started to show his age and is more calm. As he’s slowed down, my daughter has come to show him a lot more love. It’s all very interesting to observe.

Anyway, my kiddo just turned 5, and she’s gotten to see a lot more examples of people (and dogs) defying gender roles. Societal norms are still all around us, but I’m feeling better about it.
