Hmmm. I grew up in Florida, and I live in WA State now. My Washingtonian husband is always saying I gotta stop believing people when they act like they’re making plans because they’re just being “West Coast.” I wonder where it’s really the worst. I know Florida’s only halfway The South, but my experience growing up was that people were much more upfront there than they are in the PNW.
