My 5-year-old and I just checked out this great picture book A Normal Pig by K-Fai Steele.

The main character is a polka-dotted pig (with piggie parents of different shades) who deals with all these microaggressions at school. One page has a pink classmate asking if the main character’s mom is her babysitter.

Then the family visits the city, where pigs look all different ways and are speaking all different languages.

Super-recommend to anyone with kids!
