… frigid wind and rain. I started my car, only to find out that my husband had saved me the trouble. He’d looked at the weather, knew I was running low on gas, and had taken my car the night before and filled it up. As soon as I saw this, I leaned back in the driver’s seat and smiled.
My husband surprised me recently by filling the gas tank, and I couldn’t believe how good the surprise felt. So the next time it was almost empty, I did it for him.
I wonder if there really are the first type of people who need to be told they’re loved, or if those people just aren’t being shown it enough, so they go looking for words to convince them?
I mean, I get into the whole 5 love languages idea, so I know people feel loved from all different kinds of things. But everything you wrote about feels so loving to me too!
