People from every phase of my life are reading my writing. It is so much easier to write for strangers/writer-friends. I dream all the time of all the things I could write if I knew no one who knew me would read it.

Like, today I heard from my dad’s old boss telling me I should’ve told my dad about being sexually harassed when I was a teen so my dad could’ve dealt with it for me.

Also today, and much better, was hearing out-of-the-blue from an elementary school friend: “Keep writing and telling your stories, you have a gift for sharing moments” and also an apology for touching my hair back then, haha.

Really enjoyed this piece!
