Really enjoyed this piece, as a heart-on-my-sleeve elder millenial. I don't hang around enough Gen Z folks to have strong ideas about their generation, but my husband is Gen X, and you are sooooo right about him.

Love your writing, but I disagree that the world just keeps getting a little bit worse with each generation. A lot of things clearly have gotten better.
