Running into this already with my 4-year-old. The world told her to be a ballerina unicorn, but she’s realizing tutus aren’t great for climbing and THEY NEVER HAVE POCKETS. And I’m tired of holding her pebbles and pennies and feathers.

We get most clothes hand-me-down anyway, but we just went thrifting with a rule of only clothes with pockets. We got the only dress that had pockets. And a great pair of slacks from the boys’ aisle.
