Super-happy we chose to never introduce a screen in a car. My 4-year-old loves to read to herself in the car. My favorite is to give her books we haven’t read the words to yet. She can’t read the words, so she looks at the pictures and — often loudly — makes up the stories.

So, still possible to do things the old-fashioned way, but I think once screens become the habit, it’s probably hard to go back.
