Thank you. I liked Alexandra Tsuneta ’s essay a lot and agree with almost everything, but also felt this was missing. The Holocaust (and all the other times Jews haven’t been safe in other countries) might feel to us like they’re obviously underlying everything, but for people who are just educating themselves about this for the first time, we can’t assume they already understand this.
Zionism also looks a lot less crazy when you see it in that context.
