Thanks for your perspective. It’s definitely one of the perspectives that already flows through my head, and one I have to embrace in order to have a happy marriage. But I’ve been there with hair, with clothes--with him, with other men — casually shaping myself to be what they want. And there’s a point where the inequity of it hurts so bad, when the compromises feel far too one-sided. It’s tough.
