For any writers where this is the first you’re hearing about this, I just want to chime in to say I (and so many others) also saw all of this firsthand and made the choice to leave the group.

I still think about the phrase “displays of the hearth” all the time, and chuckle, remembering Kyrie Gray ’s take.
