This is how I’m parenting! And I’m not alone!

… there didn’t need to be any further explanation, and I am lucky that not everyone interrogates me. I wish heterosexuality wasn’t the default, and that parents took a wait and see approach to their children’s sexuality instead of being shocked when they are anything but straight. But until we have that kind of society, coming out will still be a privilege.

Medium has me as the top LGBTQ writer right now (above James Finn !? C’mon, ridiculous!) mostly because of one popular Human Parts piece too. So I’ve also got the imposter syndrome going strong.
