This is my favorite line. My daughter has a Daniel Tiger trolley toy with buttons for the characters to say classic lines — Katerina Kittycat: “Meowmeow, so cute, meowmeow.” — and she loves putting it on “try me” mode, where the trolley doesn’t move, there are only a few phrases, and it’s totally random which ones you hear when you press the buttons. I love your metaphor: we could settle for randomness and limited options, or we could switch to real mode and actually get somewhere. ❤
