Ummm... so then what if a journalist IS trans? Does the BBC "allow" their journalists to be out? If they consider it a political stance just to attend Pride, do they also consider it political to BE queer? Or maybe they think it's okay for LGBTQ folks to be journalists, just as long as they give off a sense of maybe being ashamed of themselves?
