We are doing stay-at-home, but we also are very lucky to live in a rural community, so we can get outdoors without encountering other people. Between 3–4 daily runs with the dog we just adopted, and daily living room dance parties with my kid, I’m actually burning more calories than when I was sitting down writing most of the day.
That said, the no-tofu grumps are strongest with my more sedentary husband, who definitely falls into the need-a-high-protein-food-with-every-meal trap many men are socialized with. I’ve tried in the past to reason with it, but ultimately I’m just happy he’s vegan, so I let it go.
I’m sorry you don’t have a lot of tasty food but glad you are mentally making peace with it! Such a crazy time! ❤
