What a helpful little read.

My kid recently learned to wake up without waking me, so I might need to consider an alarm soon, for the first time in years. I was getting real used to every morning waking to her repeating, “I WANT TO WAKE UP I WANT TO WAKE UP…” through the monitor until I went downstairs to tell her, yes, she could wake up.

Now I’m imagining an alarm based on her whining that, but at gradually increasing volumes. Hahaha. Or birdsong.
