Yes, it’s one reason I don’t want to adopt a cat. (Really, I’m just a full-on a dog person, for a lot of reasons.) I did have a roommate with a 19-year-old vegan cat. She paid attention to this advice about attempting a vegan diet with cats, which definitely doesn’t advocate for it, just gives advice for people set on doing it. With our dog, we feed him mostly V-Dog, plus “human food” for treats.
